Note: This Batch Prophecy was written solely by me. Names that are shown here in the story are real names and is purely coincidental.
I was in the middle of an
attic searching when I found a very familiar notebook, covered with gold and
silver plastic covers. Curiously, I picked it up and immediately, the ancient
smell was seething through my nose. My heart was pounding, I know there is something
I can’t even explain, the feeling of contentment, restlessness gone. If I
wasn’t that mistaken, this is a part of the history that was made before. As I
was going down the attic, leaving it a mess, I leafed through the pages and
there I found myself again being pushed back to the past … 20 years ago.
Year 2011
It was December 16, 2011.
As far as I can remember, that was the day when a tragedy was about to ruin the
tranquility of everyone and I was never wrong. 17th of December, there, I found
myself in the middle of grieving. Many we’re killed by the flashfloods, many
we’re missing. No one saw it coming, no one ever expected it. Everyone was on
pain, but no one ever hesitated to help out the victims. As soon as the dawn
broke in a gloomy day, help poured over them.
Everyone welcomed the Year
2012 with full of hopes. Students went back to school. The then 3rd year and
4th year students are preparing for their JS Promenade, the first ever in the
school’s history. Everyone was more excited than usual. On the night of
February 17, 2012, a history was made. There are we, sparkling ball gowns,
expensive and elegant Tuxedos, Perfumes covering the room. Enjoying all night,
never thinking of what the future might hold.
Graduation day came. How
the time flew so fast, no one ever realized that the 4th year is leaving so
soon. Everyone was in tears in singing the graduation song. No one knows when
they will see each other again, because right after that day, they left to go
to their separate ways to continue and stand up for their dreams.
There, I sat in my sofa, got
hit by a question, I stopped... Where are these people now? Oh, how I wish I
know. I stopped reading the diary, only left with several blank pages … As I
turn my Ipad Revolution on, I find myself looking at that familiar face. I
remember myself meeting him up once, still proud as a Filipino and still based
here in the Philippines. A handsome bachelor, the former James Bond with the
chinito looks. Is that the former Hollywood model actor turned into a
businessman Camilo
Borracho? Oh yes, that’s him. How could I ever forget?
Beep; there goes my Apple
Iphone Version 2.0. As I reached for it, I found an invitation to a grand
reunion in Sacred Heart University. We’ll it seems like I can’t wait for this
thing. I quickly packed up and cancelled
all my appointments. Where am I going? We’ll I am going back to the place I
call as my Home … Cagayan de Oro. I am beyond excited. I drove to Manila
International Airport, world’s biggest airport. What is this feeling, I suppose
I am excited. As I arrive in the Airport, I found myself meeting familiar
faces. This gorgeous woman beside me is a former teacher of mine, No other than
Miss Cristine E.
Ociones, dazzling as always. She now owns the biggest History School
in the Philippines. Oh yes, this guy beside me, is the world’s famous scientist
and Nobel prize winner for being the first person to land in Mars where he
stayed for a week and also the engineer of the voyager VI , Its no other than Father
Aljoe
Espinosa, the only engineer who also serves for God. Meanwhile, hmm, these girls in my left are
two of the Supermodels of Philippines’ Vogue Magazine, these lovely ladies are
no other than Alyssa
Jo dela Cruz who is now also an accountant and Steffi Babiera, now a licensed
engineer. We boarded the flight to Cagayan de Oro and there I encountered the
other people I reckon, I almost forgot. There, that girl walking towards to me
is the new owner of Hershey companies, now I remember, its Ma. Lynpill Carangcarang! She was
handling out the world’s most expensive chocolate that was never been sold.
And who’s that boy? Tall,
handsome ... wait, that guy is the former lead vocalist of the rock band,
"DEAF Jam" a Philippine based band, yet famous worldwide, that former
vocalist is now a very successful businessman who actually owns Jive Records,
the country’s biggest recording studio that holds the careers of some local and
international artists, and that is Hamlet Sabaduquia, who was there sitting
beside a lady. I craned my neck and saw him serenading the formerly internationally
known Filipina Socialite, photographer, licensed Psychologist and Journalist, Jas Dianne
Sabanpan who is also now a part of the Vatican Choir which she
called as “life changing”. Then there is that tall, gorgeous girl, which 20 years
before, was the campus beauty queen, winning school pageants like a piece of
cake, and until now she still is, that is Janette Dutallas, now a teacher at a place
where she teaches children, unknowingly, now a missionary. Beside her is the
CEO of MJD Group of Companies, Mr. Mark John Dominise and with him is the owner of
Moneygram Worldwide Companies, the girlfriend of Korean Actor Lee Min Ho, no
other than the luckiest girl alive, Ms. Lindy Mae Ebarle, who just arrived from Paris
from a business meeting in Paris where she also spent her vacation with her
boyfriend. Every each of them just arrived from their trips abroad. Before the
plane departed, bound for Cagayan de Oro, The Cabin Crew was introduced and
there came in , the ever dazzling Public Accountant, Frenchelle Kate Valledor, who
said was a little bit of late due to a little problem.
But where are the others?
We’ll little they don’t know, the others are actually traveling by water...
With style. Riding the most prized and expensive ship in the whole wide world,
only found in the Philippines, the DomzGalz shipping lines incorporated, where Mr.

partnership with multi- millionaire Filipino ship tycoons, the owner of Super
Stefox- Ramos shipping lines, Stephen Mario Lumacang and a licensed Seaman, Dion Michael
Ramos, where the others are, who wants to feel the caress of the
wind. I knew all about this because I learned about the eventual reunion 3 days

She was seen talking to Bren Justin Tuquib, an all time businessman
who owns legion of big companies in the Philippines, and because of that he

of these were documented by 3-time CNN Anchor of the Year Awardee, Deanne Daanoy

Filipino made Golden Gate Bridge of San Francisco, Engr. Joran Jopillo where Mr. Eugenio Bongga Jr., now
a professor in SHU where he is teaching History and Math, was watching as the

Maturan with Mr. Rey Jordan Fuentes who was busy playing games in
his laptop in the waiting area, now, Mr. Fuentes is a famous computer hacker,
which he uses only for good.
“I wonder where the others
are. Miss Dagondon isn’t here yet!” said the, owner of the Landholdings Center
of the Philippines, the biggest landholdings company in the country, owned by a
businesswoman, named Ma. Sofia Crizel Guinoo
The guests
later went to their suites specially reserved for them. I was lucky, because I
was given the bigger room in the hotel, realizing that I will be sharing it
with world’s famous teacher Mary Jean
Lamberte, who owns the Biggest school in the Philippines. Then
there is the owner of the world’s biggest Gun Company in the world’s history, Josie Savariz who is also a jail guard came to my room and invited me for a walk. We we’re
wandering around the halls with architect/chef/Accountant, Imee Rose Quintana when they saw through the glass
walls the famed Engineer-Businessman, Bismark Omar

On the day of the reunion,
the few other batch mates arrived from their trips abroad either from Europe or

beautiful ladies will act as the emcees of the program alongside with Sacred
Heart University’s former teachers, Eric Cantones and Mrs. Aleen Quipquipan, who now owns a
school for handicapped children.
In my seat, I can see that
these people are present for this reunion. Before me, I can see the world’s
famous Food Technologist, Willenda Pios, smiling while walking towards
to me with Ms. Marycris
Ranara, who is now an owner of the computer company MyPC Computers,
and she was wearing a gorgeous Gucci dress, custom made for her. There is the
owner of the Doogle.Com, the one which surpassed Google.Com, no other than, one
of the world’s business tycoons, Justine Olaybar; the owner of Party Planner,
the online yet Philippine based party planner with customers such as Anne

a Psychology professor; owners of Central Malls Worldwide, Dan Mar Patalinghug and John Noel Acebu
and there is Jeff
Clark Cabunoc, a world renowned businessman, the owner of a
telephone company.
There, I saw in the
entrance the former teachers of Sacred Heart Academy, or shall I say Sacred Heart
University. I can see Ms. Edelyn Hidalgo who was wearing a very elegant
dress; Mr. Eduardo
Calingao Jr. who was laughing in his usual way, is now a Proud owner
of Calingao Dance Clinic, located at Capistrano de Cagayan; Miss Crystal Jade Suello,
the Physics Professor in SHU, who was wearing an elegant Prada dress and Miss Rhea Mayuman,
now worldwide known as “Miss.M” which is shortcut for Miss Math because of her
intelligence and knowledge when it comes to Math, I saw her wearing a cocktail
dress that made her stand out from the crowd. This was made by Lei Katreena
Galaura, who was also wearing her own couture design, the Legacy
Couture, which Katherine Middleton; Duchess of Cambridge is a fan of.
The party started at around
7’ o clock, and others had arrived, like John Rey Vecina, the new captain of Titanic
Generation Cruise Ship; John Denielle B. Ame, who is a very successful
seafarer; the CEO of Gateway Worldwide Malls Michael Freby Mercader, where
multi-billionaire Christopher Jayson Diaz invested $20,000,000
million: Owner of Philippine Based Application, MyOwnApp Corporation, owned by Jzevonimher
Ejera; Sacred Heart
University Professor in Engineering Department, Engr. Daryl Bagalonon. Then I can see
out there in the corner of my eye, the famous Doctor, Dra. Geraldine Masa, who was busy
talking with the other guests especially to other former SHU teachers, such as
Ms. Cherry Rose
Macale, now an owner of a Grade School; Miss Venice Lyn Borres, now who is famous
as an actress in the Philippines; Ms. Felicidad dela Cruz, who now owns many great
companies and Miss Beverly Espanueva, who owns National Bookstore
Companies International.
The guests came and said
hello to me as we grooved in the music of the “World’s Pop Icon”, Glen Patrick
Labitad who just recently released his top charter “To Be with you”
from his 10th album, the sold out “Who I Am”, but at the same time,
he is a Bussinessman. As soon as the number was done, everyone was seated and
came in the hosts. Spotted in the turntables is the tourism graduate, the
person behind the new idea of the new catchy theme of the Department of Tourism
“Its More Fun and EXCITING in the Philippines”, Irish Sagucio, who was busy
mixing the music for the party.
Later, Camille Ebio came out with a
painting of that very familiar face. Camille is a painter, making her own
version of Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, named “Ana Lisa”. Everyone was
applauding due to the magnifence of the painting. There I saw Mrs. Michelle Obedoza,
Mrs. Jennie
Visande and Mr. Harold Unido, who are now three of the Most
Respected teachers in SHA. Applauding with them are Sr.
Mary Concepcion
T. Perejan, RSM, Sr. Margaret Mary Alamban, RSM and Sr. Gerard Ligan, RSM.
But who is that girl on the painting? When suddenly the, hosts introduced a
guest. Everyone got curious, including me. Oh, might be the Queen of England?
Impossible that it’s her Royal Majesty. President of the United States of
America? Absolutely not! Suddenly, I see the doors opened, and there I saw Stephanie
Dagondon who is now the CEO of the Apple Company after buying it for
$50 billion. Everyone was excited to see her, running to her. She smiled and
everyone went for a group hug. They asked me to join which I did. I was lucky
enough to be able to see this reunion.
Riiiiinnng!!!! There goes
my phone… Wha-wha-what? God, as soon as I opened my eyes, I realized I was just
dreaming, because I was still there, in that very same seat I was sitting as I
was reading the diary and imagining things out. I looked at my watch. It’s 8:30
am on this very hot Saturday. I looked to my calendar and realized that it was
January 30, 2032, there I realized, time was never a hindrance of a real
friendship, because real friendship do last forever.
